Tiferet (Beauty) is one of the central Sefirot in the Kabbalistic Tree of Life. It is best understood relationally — as part of a system of flows and balances — rather than as a fixed personality type.
What does Tiferet mean?
Tiferet is usually translated as Beauty. In the standard Tree of Life layout it appears middle column between Chesed and Gevurah. Its central interpretive field includes harmony, compassion, truth and integration.

Tiferet is frequently described as balancing the expansive force of Chesed and the restraining force of Gevurah.
Traditional symbolic body correspondence
Later Kabbalistic teaching often maps the Sefirot onto the human form. Tiferet is associated with heart / upper torso in common symbolic mappings. Ava Lux treats these as symbolic correspondences, not medical anatomy or diagnosis.
Tiferet is not a planet or zodiac sign
The Sefirot are Kabbalistic structures, not astronomical objects. A natal chart does not calculate “the degree of Tiferet.” Any connection between a Sefirah and planetary symbolism is an interpretive correspondence added by a later system.

Look for the response that is neither indulgence nor rigidity. Tiferet asks what a beautiful proportion would look like in practice.
Inside the Kabbalistic Natal Chart, this question is placed beside the actual natal placements rather than substituted for them. The chart may use Tiferet to organize a pattern that appears through several placements, but the Sefirah itself is not pretending to be astronomical data.
Keep the whole Tree in view
No Sefirah is meant to function alone. The usefulness of Tiferet comes from its relationship with the other forces in the Tree. Read it alongside the ten-Sefirot overview before turning it into a personality label.
