The Sefirot are ten categories or emanational structures used in Kabbalistic thought to describe how divine influence is articulated and related. A common sequence is Keter, Chokhmah, Binah, Chesed, Gevurah, Tiferet, Netzach, Hod, Yesod and Malkhut. Other diagrams count Daat instead of Keter.

Why some lists use Daat instead of Keter
Kabbalistic sources use more than one tenfold scheme. One counts Keter and omits Daat as an independent Sefirah; another omits Keter and counts Daat between Binah and the emotional Sefirot. Chabad's discussion of the two systems traces this difference through major Kabbalistic authorities.
The Tree is relational
The Sefirot make more sense as tensions and flows than as ten isolated personality boxes. Chesed without Gevurah becomes unbounded giving. Gevurah without Chesed becomes contraction. Tiferet expresses a form of integration between them. Netzach and Hod create another polarity, with Yesod transmitting what precedes it into Malkhut.
Are the Sefirot planets?
No. They are not astronomical bodies. Later mystical and occult systems build many correspondences around them, but the Sefirot themselves belong to Kabbalistic cosmology. Ava Lux does not calculate a “Sefirah position” in the sky.
How Ava Lux uses them in a natal chart
After the astronomical chart and Hebrew-time layer are established, the Tree of Life becomes an interpretive scaffold. It helps organize the reading around expansion, restraint, balance, persistence, communication and manifestation. That is an Ava Lux reading method, not a claim that classical Kabbalah contains modern natal-chart houses.
